Dan McGonagle has years history with Media Production, Preservation and, more recently, Live Streaming. His work over the years with such distinguished organizations as the “Radio Free Europe” archive (Hoover Institute at Stanford University), the “Commonwealth Club of California” (National Public Radio), and San Francisco’s famous Glide Memorial Church, has earned him his meticulous reputation for creating and preserving Media Content.
Dan gained years of valuable production and recording experience during his days touring as a roadie for Merl Saunders & The Rainforest Band in the early 1990’s, and later as an A/V Tech for many of the Bay Area’s leading Audio-Visual companies for 15+ years. He is also known as DJ Dark Star Dan to many folks in the Bay Area for his work and presentation of the Grateful Dead’s enormous archive of recorded music through his “Grateful Dead Jams” dj Series (est.1992).
